Episode 20: Workspace Acoustics and Ergonomics at Humanscale
In this episode, Andy sits down with Nick Camp, District Manager of Humanscale in Dallas wherein Humanscale is an ergonomics company turned into manufacturing furniture. Humanscale makes sure that every employee experience a conducive workspace with better ergonomics. “It’s incredibly important in ergonomics in the workspace. So that’s really where we put all of our attention”, Nick said.
They also discussed the acoustical or noise problem that Humanscale suffered before and how MPS helped them to resolve the problem using sound masking and acoustic panels. “It is fantastic in here now. We have not only the absorption, but we also have the masking that’s running right now and it has been made such a difference in our world”, Nick mentioned.
Acoustic absorption, sound masking and ergonomics work hand in hand to create a great workspace that helps employees to increase productivity and reduce distraction from the noise being heard inside or outside the workplace.
